The gloss itself is beautifully clear and thick. I added coconut oil to mine in order to "add water to the soup" and it mixed in seamlessly without separating. Honestly you could even use it on its own without adding any sort of oil to thin it, but either way works well. Using 10 ml lip gloss containers, there was enough product to fill 21 of them. I also purchased a cheap blush in a burgandy color, ground it up, and added it to the gloss for color. It made it a super pretty deep color in the bottle, but applies sheer for the most part, which is exactly what I wanted. It is super shiny and moisturizing, and not at all sticky, which pleasantly surprised me. It has no chemical scent or flavor. The only thing other thing I would comment on is that the product is hard to completely wash off dishes, so I would recommend using a disposable bowl to mix in any add ins you may want to put in your gloss.
