Tick Key The Original Tick Key, Multi Color 3 Pack

These work extremely well! I’ve carried them for years and have removed many ticks with one quick swipe. It pulls the whole head and leaves nothing behind. My dogs doesn’t love toe nail clippers or anything “sketchy” in your hands when you pet him so there’s no way I could use tweezers. This is fast and he hardly realizes I’ve removed the tick. They are easy to carry, hook well on backpack clips or in very small pockets, and I don’t know if I really care about color too much but I got the ones I ordered so that’s good as well. I’ve never had them bend or break. I’ve just lost a couple through the years and chose to restock every pack since the tick counts seem higher this year.

A must have for anyone living near the woods in the Midwest. I keep them on my keychain so I can use it after hiking or taking my dog on free range walks. I hate having to use it but it’s effective and easy to use. They are sturdy.

Purchased for myself and as gifts for our crew. No sooner than I had secured it on my key ring, a parent asked me if there was a way to remove an embedded tick from her child. With her permission, I easily removed the entire embedded tick - parent and child were very relieved. Wonderful tool that removes tick gently, intact, without leaving the head under the skin. Several customers have inquired where I found this tick key. I never used to be concerned with ticks much as our winters are very long and cold. The last couple winters have been warmer than usual with plentiful mast and high populations of mice and whitetail deer. We are seeing many more ticks than in the past. This should be standard issue in any Parks & Recreation organization. Will purchase again for co-workers in other departments. * For those who have reservations on the Tick Key's removal of small deer ticks, let me assure you YES this does work on deer ticks, even the very small ones. Stretch the skin tight, center the tick in the middle of the large opening, then slide the Tick Key firmly towards the end of the narrow part of the opening. Keep the tick centered in the middle and as it nears the narrow part, the entire tick should pull out in its entirety. This key works with just about any size tick, although a really tiny tick may require tweezers, but then you risk leaving the head under your skin.

I’ve had this on my keychain for eight years and have never had to use it. Today, I used it to remove a tick from my grandson’s back. He was worried it was going to hurt, and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to remove the entire tick. We both were amazed by how well it worked. My grandson said he didn’t feel anything aside from the gentle pressure of me moving the tool across his skin. The tick was dislodged with minimal effort on my part. I’m ordering more so all of my family members can have one of their own. I didn’t realize how long it’s been on my keychain until I decided to find my old order and write a review. It’s held up very well.

Purchased these for my dog and I since we like to run in the woods and occasionaly one of us brings home an unwelcome visitor. Well, recently the exact situation occured, We both came home with multiple ticks on us. I attempted to use the tool on myself in a very "delicate" spot and unfortunately it did not work in this case. I could get the tool to grab a hold of his body but would not pull him out and prying and pulling on said spot became very uncomfortable. One flaw i did notice, which may be user related, was when pulling on the tick sometimes the body would turn sideways and he would slip through the crack. On my lab I tried it on a couple ticks as well. My lab had seed ticks on him, and the tool was just a tad to big for these little guys. As much as i tried to use the tool, the tinyness of this menace prevailed. I do believe I did concur and managed to remove 1 tick with the tool. I like the idea and design of this tool. I have 1 in my dogs bag, 1 in the house, and 1 on his collar. The tool is a genius design, the price is a little steep for something that doesn't cost but maybe a dollar to make, but its worth it when you need it. When we encounter more ticks, I will be sure to add to the review and update. Thanks for reading.

If you live in an area with ticks, you need this. It makes tick removal so easy and it’s painless. We’ve used it on goats, dogs and even ourselves. Best tick key and a must to carry on hikes. I used a similar one from Walmart and it took several tries to 'catch' the tick as the metal was too thick. This one is easy to use and gently pulls the tick out with one smooth move.

Perfect. My son was camping and found a tick. He used the key for the first time. It worked and he didnt get infected.
