Unfortunately the quality of this leaves very, very much to be desired. The mesh is very rough and poorly put together in the frame; there are gaps where the mesh does not stay adhered to its flimsy frame (I guarantee you'd have to be very cautious not to bend or eventually break it while cleaning) and even the mesh itself is not nearly fine enough. The pouring spout is uneven, the pieces don't seat well, and the plastic appears not to have been smoothed out of the mold (there are some sharp bits). I like its small serving size I've been using it nightly without the filter just using teabags to drinkmy herbal sleep tea. I've tried using it with the filter as well when trying out the loose leaf tea sample that came with it. I was surprised at how well the filter kept all the tea particles out of the tea.
