To ensure a secure fit on your device, push them on the device as far as possible. To do this, take the tip and attach it to the device as normal. From there, take your pointer finger and push the top of the tip down, towards the device. Once the tip stops moving, you have put the tip on all the way. This will ensure the actual core itself is covering the whole sound port of the earphone. I use these daily for several hours and get at least two months use from a pair, I swap them when they lose their pliability but can use them for longer if I need to. I wipe the tips with a dry cloth or tissue after every use and keep my ears clean. If you mash them into dirty earwax and never clean them I expect that they may not last as long. Don't be gross. These sound very similar to the original tips. You need to squeeze and roll them prior to insertion like most foams. They stay put in my ears as I go about my normal business, I dont exercise so can't comment on that.
