The old paint would come off easily with a scraper but areas with new primer and paint wouldn’t budge. Since 95% of the paint was off the siding I wanted to get that last bit. I put this on my angle grinder with 60 grit sandpaper and that new paint came right off. When it wasn’t sanding it was melting. I wore a full face shield which I strongly recommend because there were some really high velocity bits flying. Don’t think safety glasses are enough. I expected the disk to last for a very short time but it still works after an intense workout.
