Any others experience this?** A: I had the same problem. I called Hunter Fans First, they had me try turning the light on/off repeatedly, but that didn’t help. Then Hunter fans sent me two new lightbulbs because they said sometimes the warehouse makes a mistake and puts the wrong kind of lightbulbs in the box. The new lightbulbs didn’t help. Then I had my husband buy two new dimmable lightbulbs, and that still didn’t help. I had given up all hope until I read some of the other answers. I tried tall2020’s fix & IT WORKED! Thank you tall2020. I’m not sure if the new lightbulbs helped or not. Below are the steps (copied from tall2020). 1. Turn light switch off and back on 2. Within 3 minutes, hold down the fan off button while pressing the light button twice ( if the problem is not correct you can repeat process up to 5 times) **Q: What is the height from ceiling to the bottom of the light?** A: Why does it say 11.03 in description? **Q: The specs say this fan is 9.9 inches in height. Is this from the ceiling to to the bottom of the light or the fan bland?** A: I measure 12.5" from the ceiling to the bottom of the light. At the lowest point of the fan blade I measure 8.5". **Q: Are the blades on the silver fan black?** A: They are reversible -- and easy to switch.
