I have used them in my piano studio before to record student performances and haven't been happy with other products. When I set this one up, I was very impressed with the quality! It is wonderfully bright, and I love having the ability to change both the color temperature of the light as well as the brightness from the remote control. The bluetooth remote also works very well, which is one thing I found glitchy in other brands. My only complaint would be that I wish there was an indicator of what brightness and color settings were being used so that I could duplicate exact settings. The tripod stand is very sturdy and tall enough to allow me to record looking down on the piano keys. The light is very evenly distributed so that there are no "hot" or "dim" spots in the recordings. One of my favorite features is that I can charge my phone while I am recording directly from the light through the USB port in the back. I also like that I can connect my video camera as well as my phone. Many similarly priced products only allowed phone recording. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase!
