Review: Love these diversion safes. Bought this one as a gift. - I’ve bought several of these type of diversion safes - for myself and as gifts. I chose this one, specifically, for it’s larger size - as I wanted them to have a secure place for storing their passports. A larger variety of book “subjects” would be nice in this larger size. The functionality is excellent. The quality of it’s build was VERY excellent. Not only did it look like a real book, it felt like one too. The lock quality, IMO, doesn’t really matter much - this style safe, and the security it provides, relies on its ability to blend in. If someone’s determined to get into its contents? - they will. They could walk out with it under their arm and open it at their leisure - that’s not a slight to this safe - just a consequence of being what it is. My advice? - Choose one with the most realistic “binding” and page edges (which this has) - and with a “subject” that’s common to other topics in your bookcase. Don’t choose a title that’s so intriguing or interesting that it’d make someone curious about its contents. This is a “perk-free” review.
