The shelves are sturdy and the whole unit goes together very well. The only issue I have had is the top shelf just lays into the vertical posts, and I've snapped a couple of the inserts by barely leaning against the shelf. It still works just fine as long as it is centered and stuff is on it, but I may have to go back and glue the posts back down if I have any problems with it sliding later. ### ⭐ Assembly a nightmare *by C***E on October 31, 2020* Well bought this product the first time and it was very easy to assemble excellent..... Now I purchased it again and the assembly was a total disaster it didn't assemble well very difficult to fit parts, at the very top of the table the silver screws after it's been assembled the adhesive popped lose from the metal screw fittings from the glass I had to buy windshield rear view mirror adhesive to attach the metal screws to the glass so I could reassemble the top glass..... it was a total disaster. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is perfect *by C***P on February 15, 2012* Decided to upgrade our final old school tv and needed to get rid of the big ol' entertainment center. I ordered this based on the design and price and am happy to say it was exactly what I was hoping for. It has a nice sleek design and seems pretty sturdy. I feel confident putting it in the toy room to hold the tv that it won't tip over. It was very easy to assemble - I'm a small woman and it took me about 35 minutes. Would have been sooner except I had a few of those "my arms are too short" moments. The labeling on the pieces was one of the best I've seen in a long time. I love how they packaged the screws, etc separate and labeled them with their own part number and specified in the instructions exactly what number to look for.
