The fact that this well bound, fairly sturdy and the paper quality is decent makes this even more of a value. It has a very small font but the print is well-rendered. I really need my glasses to read but I have no problems with the 7-point text in this book. As to extras, well, there aren't a whole lot. I have a bible with a leather binding that I value because it's *nice*. I have another bible loaded with analysis, extended discussions of certain points, maps and so on. The NIV Holy Bible doesn't have a nice cover and has minimal other "extras". This book does include the Translator's footnotes along with some cross-references but that's about it...students may want to look elsewhere.
