The lids are a hard plastic and not microwave safe. **Q: I see that there is no need to remove the sleeve but i would prefer to remove it for cleaning. Is it removable?** A: Yes, it's removable. **Q: Description doesn't match pictures... same size or multiple sizes?** A: Mine came as pictured. Each 4 cup. Colors pretty exact. **Q: Air fryer safe?** A: The ones I bought shattered in the microwave and they are supposed to be microwave safe. I sent them back. However, I hand wash the tops, to avoid dishwasher heat that could warp them over time. Had these for over a year and the tops still snap on nice & snug. I've even placed them upside down (turning over food being marinated), and never had a leak. Wonderful to have the non-reactive glass and silicone-- no concerns about chemical leaching. Wish they were priced better. The silicone is super thick and helps prevent bumps and breaks. The lid is easy to lock all the tabs and easy to unlock also (no super loud clicks and not too much pressure needed to lock and unlock). Great colors and sizes. I use these for my son's daycare meals, so they go in a backpack everyday and get taken out by provider and he eats from it. No breakage or anything. Love how they are made out of glass since I am anti plastic container when it comes to what touches the food. The lid is plastic but I don't mind as much. We have microwaved the containers with no issue. Can't comment on oven use as we never have used them in the oven and do not ever plan to.
