I was glad to see that. No breakage. They give off a nice soft, yellow-y orange light that you'd probably expect from looking at the picture. I'm using them as mood lighting in my bedroom under and around my loft bed. This didn't come with extra bulbs, so I'm not sure what I'll do when they eventually blow. The lights start quite close to where the plug end is, which is the only thing I don't really like. Basically a garland of mini Edison bulbs!I can't speak to the longevity or weatherproof-ness of these lights, since I've only just put them up, but I can at least say confidently that they all arrived in working order with not a single bulb broken! Which is impressive, considering how delicate they are. I'm actually a little worried about how they'll fare in inclement weather, since they seem to just be made of standard light bulb glass.
