Three brands of Henley style compared: Dickies, Wrangler Riggs and Carhartt
Currently using three brands of Henley's: (this one) Dickies, Wrangler Riggs and Carhartt. Overall little difference in quality or fit. There are some differences. The RIGGS Wrangler brand is two button, and has a 1" square leather pocket logo. Off the three the fit is slightly tighter on the Riggs, slightly larger on the Carhartt. Of the fabric after some wash cycles, the Riggs is the smoothest, the Carhartt the roughest, it is a noticeable difference between the Riggs and the other two in smoothness. The other are comparable. Wife says the Carhartt looks good on me, and the Riggs looks the most "fitted". The Riggs does have the most "structure", looks classier. All are comparable in looks though. All appear to have similar build and stitch quality.

The quality seems as good as Carhartt but the sizing is not even close
I wear Carhartt 2XL Henleys almost daily. I thought I would give Dickies a try. The quality seems as good as Carhartt but the sizing is not even close. The Dickies 2XL were quite snug around the chest and waist. I recommend ordering a size larger than you normally wear, unless you like a really snug fitting shirt. I returned the 2XL, may try the 3XL or just stick with Carhartt.

The fabric is stiff like canvas and the pocket is practically in the armpit
I did not like this shirt at all. I've had Dickies heavyweight pocket t-shirts before and loved them but this is the first Henley I've tried. The fabric is super heavy, almost like canvas. It's simply not comfortable even after a couple washes.Secondly, the front pocket is way over towards the left armpit and too high as well. It's also too small to carry a modern cell phone.I'll be donating this one to Salvation Army. A waste of money.

Very comfortable. Fits well. ##Update##
This shirt fits very well. If you're a tall guy too, you know how hard it is to find casual shirts that will tuck inside and stay inside your jeans...you either show everyone your belly when you reach over your head or you show them something worse when you bend over to pick something up. This shirt is long enough to stay tucked in and avoid those problems (I'm 6'2").I got the orange for the fall/Thanksgiving season, and it's a very nice color for the season.##17FEB14: I got two of the red shirts for Christmas presents. The Orange one I bought before Thanksgiving was not a fluke or an aberration. These shirts fit great and are very comfortable to wear. They look nice enough to wear on a night out but are tough and comfortable enough to wear in the shop.I just ordered three more in different colors.

For Tall Sizes the sleeves are really SHORT
My husband is tall 6'2" . Finding any henley shirts in tall is always a challenge. This shirt appears to be good quality, a bit rough feeling fabric but that is OK & a good price. Washed & dried nicely. Nice color. BUT for a Tall size the sleeves are way to short should be at least 4 or more inches longer. On a tall guy these look kinda like cap sleeves. For a guy maybe 5'9" or shorter the sleeve length would be just find.

Major disappointment
after two washes they shrunk to near about small size...in children. gave this shirt a better review earlier but for some reason, it was denied. No matter it would have been updated to what I'm writing now. Poor quality stitching for a work shirt...gonna stick with Carhart from here on out.

Good shirt, I'll be buying these instead of the expensive "farmer's" brand.
Wow, great shirt for the money. I've been buying the famous "farmers" brand for several years. These appear to be of similar quality. The length of these is a bit shorter than the expensive brand but still plenty long enough for me and I'm 6'4" and long waisted. I'm 260 lbs, 54" chest, 44" waist and the 2XL Tall fits me well. Also, the Dickies tag on the pocket is stitched on and easily removed if you'd rather not be a walking advertisement!**Update to my initial review: I'm taking away one star, they're still ok for the price but after several washings they are a little small and sleeve length has shortened, not terrible but snug enough that I notice. I'll still wear 'em but they're not as comfortable as the famous "farmers" brand.

Great Value
Love these shirts! Durable and comfortable. I am somewhere in between a large and an XL, but since they are 100% cotton, I just wash them in hot water, throw them in the dryer on high, and they emerge with a perfect fit. A little heavier than your regular henley, but I think they will last longer. I too think placement of the tag on the collar is poor planning, but it snips off easily if you're careful and I've had no problems.
