Just returned from riding in 90 degree weather and never have felt this good. It really does work ! My seat comes off easily, so installation was a breeze. Followed the directions for inflation and off I went. At first It felt strange, and wasn't too sure I was going to like it. But after stopping and adjusting the air a few times, I finally felt I had gotten the right air pressure for me. Like a lot have folks have stated, IT TAKES A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF AIR TO WORK ! The standard air hawk will fit as well. I have both versions. The value of this particular model for dual sport seats is the narrow portion near the tank which does not obstruct the legs when you reach for the ground. The standard version is wider in the back and more form fitting around the tank in the front. If you can reach the ground easily when stopped, the extra width in the front would not be an issue. Since I have both, the one I like most on the standard seat for the R1250 GS is the standard air hawk due to fit and coverage. **Q: Anyone fit this to a 2017 Africa Twin?** A: Yes, this one fits according to Airhawk. **Q: does this seat fit the R1200GS bMW ?** A: I have mine on a 2007 R1200R with a Rick Mayer Saddle. Love my Saddle but had to add the Airhawk after I broke my hip. People seem either to love these cushions or they just don't. I had no idea what to expect when I tried it out for the first time, and I was disappointed. It's not like sitting on a magic carpet. But, that's not really the point. I have a few hundred miles on mine now, and I've come to love and appreciate it. First, you have to fiddle with air pressures a bit to get it set up properly for your body. Less air is generally better than more. Once you've done that, that magic of this thing isn't that you feel like you're in a comfy lounge chair; it's that after two hours on your bike you don't feel like you're sitting on a rock. I like mine and use it all the time. If you buy one, take the time to fiddle with air pressures until you get it where you like it. Then, don't judge it based on a ride around town. Get out on the road and do a few hundred miles, and then be amazed that your butt isn't killing you. I ride a 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000LT. The riding position is pretty upright. I'm a tall guy, and I've adjusted the bike so it fits me well to start with. If you throw this cushion on a bike expecting it to fix basic ergonomic problems, or if you expect it to do something special on trips around town, you may be disappointed. If you like to get on a well set up bike and do a few hundred miles at a time, you may really appreciate it. This cushion gets four stars from me. It's well-made, but at $108 it's a pricey gamble for most folks.
