There were two wooden legs, which were just flailing about loose in the box as well, they both had a couple scratches on them. Very nice bed for the price. Color (we got beige) was just as pictured. Easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough. It’s for a guest room so it hasn’t been slept on. Will update when that happens!! All in all, we are satisfied with the purchase and can recommend. This bed is high quality all the way looks fantastic. Sturdy, quiet, and nice to look at. When I moved last, that one broke after 5 years so I went looking for a replacement. The amazon version was a bit cheaper and i liked the beige color so I bought it. Easy to put together and looks really nice BUT it's VERY squeaky. Just flipping to my other side makes a sound, not to mention getting out of bed. I first noticed it only a few weeks after putting it together.
