## Overview

## Description

Wolf bite is a premium glass bed adhesion solution specifically engineered to bond acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (abs) plastic printed parts directly to glass 3d printing build plates without lifting (also known in the industry as "warpage"). Wolf bite also enables the smooth release of parts after printing. Wolf bite was exclusively developed at Airwolf 3D in collaboration with noted polymer chemist professor miodrag "mickey" micic, Ph.D., A department chairman at Cerritos college in Norwalk, ca. Wolf bite is applied with a polyurethane foam brush directly onto glass, eliminating the need for tape. One light application of wolf bite can be used for several prints. After applying wolf bite, printing can commence immediately, with either a heated or room-temperature bed. Airwolf 3D formulated the proprietary solution to promote excellent adhesion and to make printed part removal easy.

    Another purchase fail!!

*by J***I on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 17, 2018*

Another failed product for me. Spent 20 dollars on this because of the good reviews and thought this might save me from the notorious warping issue with ABS. Wrong! Tried Borosilicate glass with a fine painted coat like it said, didnt work. Another guy said to put two layers on, didnt work. Tried Kapton tape and a thin layer painted on, didnt work. Tried two layers, Kapton tape, on Borosilicate glass, didnt work. Another guy said to use glass from a window like the hardware store sells. Tried that glass and a painted coat, didnt work. Tried two layers painted on, didnt work. You can see the pattern. It did not work no matter how hard i tried. 48 hours and a wasted roll of fillament to accept the fact that I will probably give up on printing ABS. And if you are wondering, tried about 15 different layer heights for the first layer as well as all the way up to 20mm brim. Also made sure that the Borosilicate glass and the brand new window glass were grease and dirt free following another reviewers post about cleaning with alcohol and a micro fiber cloth. Bed was extremely level. Wont purchase anymore of this product. Only success i have had is ABS slurry on Kapton on a Borosilicate glass plate. Guess I will deal with the ugly surface from the slurry.

    holy crap it works

first, I hate printing ABS. It's awful. There are better filaments available. That said, I got some PC/ABS from Proto-Pasta (dot com), and it doesn't stick to PVA (glue stick), but it does stick to this stuff. This stuff is awesome. Comes with a little foam brush, which juust fits into the bottle. Dunk the brush, swab out a rectangle on the clean glass build plate, and print away. I run the PC/ABS with a 110C bed and a brim, the stuff sticks really well. The brim is probably overkill, but it works great. When it cools back down I can lift it with a razorblade, not hard at all.The wolfbite stuff is water-soluble too, another great bonus. Easy to clean up! I love it. Goes on thin and lasts at least a few prints between applications.

Works great! Especially on e3d Edge

*by C***T on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 2, 2016*

I've used this on heated borosilicate on ABS with great success. It far exceeds the manufacturer's stated shelf life claims so don't let that deter you. I've had the same bottle for over six months and it still is performing like a champ. What amazes me is how it is the perfect solution for e3d/Spoolworks EDGE material. It does a fantastic job at getting the first layer perfect every time for me. Zero warp risk at 80 degrees. When it cools, I've found that part removal is a non-issue as the part just slips off with no bonding. However, and this is the risk I've had with borosilicates, there is a chance of damage if the part cools too rapidly in a chilly ambient environment. I've found that I need to set my print bed post processing to 50 degrees and let that stabilize for a bit. Then slowly lower it through the transition temps to avoid glass damage.
