Review: I love my new yoga mat! - Recently I learned of the many benefits grounding has on your body and how it could improve your life. When I came across this "Grounded Yoga Mat" I was immediately intrigued because I been a yoga enthusiast for a long time. So I figured I would try grounding and incorporate it into my yoga routine. I wasn't sure what to expect when I decided to try yoga on this mat. Honestly, I was expecting I would notice much of a difference but I was totally wrong. The quality of the mat is nice and feels good on my feet. There is a textured anti-slip surface so you feet don't slide around during poses. I also liked there were no complicated instructions or anything. Just simply plug it into a plug that is grounded and place your bare feet on there. I was surprised to notice that within moments as soon as I stepped on it I could "feel" a slight tingle in my feet. As I progressed through my routine I just felt very relaxed. My muscles felt relaxed and more fluid and flexible than they usually do. It may be coincidence but I also had quite a bit of a headache that eased throughout the yoga session. When I was done with my routine I felt very much at ease. I kept using this yoga mat in place of my previous one and continued experiencing the same feeling of well-being. Over just the course of a little over a week and using this product regularly I am becoming a believer in grounding. The great thing about doing Grounding with this mat is it doesn't require me to change my routine or go out of my way to try something. Not only do I use this mat for Yoga, I also rest my feet on this mat while I'm relaxing on the couch and working on my computer. I've never felt so relaxed. I'm sleeping better, my mind isn't constantly racing. My muscles feel relaxed and my stress level has easily gone way down. I would recommend this to anybody, even if they are skeptical because I was skeptical when I ordered.
Review: It’s worked great - I feel I has helped me reduce anxiety that comes with chronic illness. Not sure if it’s a placebo type of effect but I’ll do anything to calm my fight or flight response I get with POTS and SVT. I use it every time I workout and meditate. I definitely feel more at ease. It’s nice and thick, firm but soft and cushioned at the same time. The cord is long enough. Really love it. I do slip a bit when my palms are too sweaty but I think it’s no more different than any other yoga mat.

Works perfect for getting in some grounding time when exercising and doing yoga on days when going outside is not an attractive option. If I am doing a lot of down on the floor work, I place this mat on top of a rug for added comfort; but I prefer this thin mat placed directly on a hard surface for barefoot standing and kneeling work because it provides excellent stability. I do feel the best doing my movement work outside, with fresh air/sunshine/the earth beneath my feet and the sun or moon above...but this mat delivers excellent grounding(I tested it). So, while I don't experience a huge difference in how I feel while I am using this and other indoor grounding devices, I am convinced I am receiving long-term benefits by regular use.
