Perfect Fit for a 16-Inch Laptop and Wireless Mouse
This lap desk exceeded my expectations. My 16-inch laptop and wireless mouse fit perfectly with room to spare, making it the ideal size for comfortable computing. It's lightweight, ergonomic, and sturdy enough that I can work for hours on the couch or in bed without discomfort. The device ledge keeps my laptop securely in place at any angle, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover a subtle lip along the top edge of the built-in mouse pad that helps keep my mouse from sliding off when I'm not using it. The integrated phone holder is another feature I love because it keeps everything I need within easy reach. The cushioned base is supportive, stays cool, and prevents heat buildup, even during long work sessions. The overall build quality feels durable and well made. If I could suggest two small improvements, they would be adding a zipper to the cushioned base so users could adjust the filling for a more customized fit, and including a small opening at the bottom of the phone holder to accommodate a charging cable. Overall, this is an excellent lap desk that is thoughtfully designed, high quality, and comfortable to use. I highly recommend it.

Perfect Lap Desk – Super Comfortable, Durable, and Stylish!
I absolutely love this LAPGEAR Home Office Lap Desk in Blush Pink! It’s become my go-to for working from the couch, bed, or even in the car. The build quality is excellent—very durable and sturdy, with no wobbling or cheap feel despite the lightweight design. It looks beautiful too—the soft pink color is pretty and matches my setup perfectly, plus the cushioned base makes it incredibly comfortable on my lap for hours without any heat buildup or discomfort. The large built-in mouse pad is a huge plus; it’s spacious enough for smooth tracking with my mouse, and I appreciate the dedicated phone holder that keeps my iPhone upright and easy to glance at for notifications or quick checks. The device ledge holds my 15-inch MacBook securely without any sliding. The only small thing I’d suggest improving is adding a hole or cutout at the bottom of the phone holder so I could charge my phone while it’s in place (right now, I have to flip it upside down to plug in the charger, which works but isn’t ideal). Otherwise, this is fantastic value at the sale price—highly recommend for anyone wanting a comfy, functional lap desk for home office or remote work!

Perfect for my needs.
I use this lap desk with my 15” MacBook Pro while working outside on my deck or while sitting on the sofa. It replaced a smaller LapGear desk that I’ve had for 5 years. I wanted a spot to rest my phone next to the computer, and with this desk, I can use the cutout or the rubberized mouse pad to hold the phone without it slipping off. I don’t use a mouse with my laptop, but the space on this desk intended for that purpose is ideal. The carbon fiber look surface is very nice and looks high-end. The two bolster pillows underneath are much better than my previous, smaller desk that had just one bean-filled pillow. The two separate pillows that run horizontally across the top and bottom of the underside of this desk do a much better job at supporting the computer+desk and keeping it all level. The carry handle is great for transporting the desk from room to room. The desk fits under my end table when I’m not using it. I predict I’ll have this one for a long time. Great quality and functionality from LapGear at a great price point. Highly recommend!

Weight and looks are 5 stars, but the surfaces don't grip
This review is for the silver carbon version of LAPGEAR's lap desk. Pros: -Very light weight -Looks beautiful with my Chromebook and mouse -After 1 month of daily use, the padding in the cushions remains plump and comfortable -The phone slot is both practical and convenient -Perfect size for my 13" laptop Cons: -The sliver carbon surface does not have any grip. My Chromebook slides forward if I have the lap desk even slightly elevated, which is almost always the case. There is a small plastic bar at the bottom of the tray, but it isn't tall enough to prevent my laptop, which has a curve on the underside, from sliding right over it. To prevent this I keep a small block of foam in front of the bar, as shown in my picture. -Likewise, the mouse pad does not grip my mouse. If I'm not holding it and the desk is not tipped, the mouse slides right off the tray. To prevent this, I added a Gimar wrist pad. The pad has a rubber grip bottom and does a pretty good job of keeping my mouse on the desk while I'm typing. And, of course, the wrist pad also provides nice wrist support. Conclusion: I love this lap desk. It looks great and is both functional and comfortable. The slippery surfaces were easy to address. The wrist pad may have been something I might have added anyway. 4 1/2 stars.

Perfect lap desk for 15" laptops.
I picked up the new Acer Predator Helios 300 about a week ago. I had bought a cooling pad and was using that but I wanted something a little more comfortable for when I'm on the couch and whatnot. I was also hoping for something that could hold my mouse as well (I'm 30 years old which I know is super old, right? and my mouse wrist gets very sore after a long gaming session if it is not positioned correctly.) I spent a decent amount of time looking at all the available lap desks on Amazon. Whenever I seek a product out on Amazon, I am usually surprised at all the different options and features that I need to pick and this purchase was no different. If you are currently reading this review, you probably know what I mean. Well, let me tell you, I am sooo happy I chose this one. To try and keep the rest of this review concise, I am going to list what I like about it in bullet point format. Normally, this would be more of a Pros/Cons list but I honestly can't think of any real Cons for this item. - This lap desk is surprisingly light. My laptop is 5 pounds so I didn't want something that was going to add a ton of extra weight onto my lap and this lap desk seems to be the perfect weight. - Despite being light, it still feels very sturdy. I am sure the wood is some sort of particle board (I could be wrong but I don't think I am) but it still feels like it will hold up well. If I were to snap it over my knee, I am sure it would break but as long as it is not mistreated, I don't think it is going to fall apart. The bean/sand filled pads on the bottom are stitched well and the mouse pad area and the little stopper at the bottom that keeps your laptop from sliding down all seem to be well made. - I have a 15.6" laptop and it fits absolutely perfect on the desk area. I was a little worried about the size of the mouse pad but for day to day stuff, it is definitely big enough. When gaming, I throw one of my gaming mouse pads (that has a wrist rest attached to it) on top of the inlaid mouse pad and that setup works really well for me. It hangs over the edge a little bit, but does not hinder the use of the mouse in any way. - I am also very happy with the thickness of the board that the laptop rests on. From looking at the pictures, I actually thought it would be thicker but was pleasantly surprised that it was nice and thin. I don't want a lot of extra height added because that would make it harder to type properly (gotta avoid that carpal tunnel syndrome!) It is not too thin, where I feel like it will break easily but not too thick either. I think they found a good balance between sturdiness and comfort. - I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e phone and it is in a slightly bulky case and it fits vertically in the phone holder very well. It does not fit horizontally, unfortunately, but when I am playing a video or something like that, I just lay it in the phone holder a little askew and it is sufficient for my needs. I don't blame the company's design for this because if the holder were any larger, I think the entire lap desk would be too large and I am very happy with its current size. - The bean/sand filled pads on the bottom are positioned well and extremely comfortable. Sometimes my laptop will be in my lap for hours at a time. I have been using this for about 5 days now and I have never felt like it was uncomfortable to use or that it was going to fall off my lap. It is easy to move around and reposition, if necessary. - I also really like the handle at the top. It is nice little extra feature. Overall, I really think you will like this product. I am one of those people who spends a lot of time looking at my options and reading reviews, even for very basic stuff. After checking out, I usually get a little bit of anxiety until my package gets here because I really do not like having buyer's remorse. Amazon is really good about returns so it is not as big of a deal on Amazon as it is on some other sites but it is enough of a hassle to return something (finding a box, printing the label, going to the post office to drop it off, etc.) that I try to pick the right items the first time around. That is why I try to write reviews for items, especially ones that I like. People tend to only write reviews when something goes wrong and it can make it harder for other people to know if they should buy an item or not. So, I am just trying to do my part as an avid Amazon user to help other people make good buying decisions. I attached some photos with a pencil for scale. I hope you found this review to be helpful.

Super convenient
I’m really happy with this lap desk. I use it mostly on my couch and bed, and it makes working on my laptop so much more comfortable. The surface is a good size and fits my laptop perfectly, and I like the little ledge that keeps it from sliding off. The built-in mouse pad and phone holder are actually really useful—I didn’t think I’d use them much, but it helps keep everything in one place. It’s lightweight and easy to carry around too. The cushion underneath is soft and sits nicely on my lap without getting too hot, which is a big plus. () Overall, it’s a simple but super practical desk. Great if you like working from the couch or bed.

Great Lap Desk for Home, Bed, Sofa, and Boat
This LAPGEAR home office lap desk has been great for our family. It is very practical for working from bed, sitting on the sofa, or using around the house. I also like that it works well for our boat, where having a stable surface is very helpful. The oak woodgrain look is nice, and the size works well for a 15.6-inch laptop. It feels comfortable, useful, and easy to move around depending on where you want to work. Overall, this is a great lap desk for home, travel, or small spaces.

Great lap desk
Excellent lap desk that feels sturdy and well made. Cushions are comfortable and feel like they will last. Perfect size for my aula F87. I went with the version sans wrist rest, which I felt was not very comfortable. The version without still has plenty of space for a keyboard and alternative wrist rest. Very good value for the money. Only real issue is keeping the mouse from sliding off when not in use but there isn't really a good solution for that aside from setting the mouse above the keyboard when not in use. But that's something that doesn't really have a good solution so that's not on lapgear. Can't really go wrong with this if you want a good lap desk, just might need to return once to figure out if you want the wrist rest version or not.

This thing changed my life LOL
So, I work from home, but I don't have a traditional set up. I am very short which makes it awkward to find a desk/chair combo that doesn't ultimately end up with me extremely uncomfortable. I had been working on a Chromebook perched on my lap for several months before my spouse bought this for me. It's very light, and the cushions on the bottom make it feel like you just have a pillow sitting on your lap. It fits my Chromebook perfectly, with plenty of room. As advertised on the product info, I would not think anything larger than a 15" laptop would be usable on this lapdesk, UNLESS you had no plans to use the mouse pad with an external mouse. I hate laptop touchpads, and always use an external mouse. I have also used this lapdesk to hold my keyboard on my lap, while i'm using my desktop PC, and it's 100x more comfortable than using a keyboard tray (which are generally useless to me since I have to jack the chair up so high). I find the height of the lapdesk to be perfect, in that my hands and arms are at a good level to avoid carpal tunnel or strain injuries. I don't care much for the "device stand" above the mousepad. it's not deep enough to really hold your phone, which will pitch off the side if the table even moves a little bit. Instead, I use it to hold my earbuds when i'm not using them. And I also wish the small shelf bit (where you would rest the edge of your laptop) was optional/removable. Sometimes I find it to be an annoyance. Overall, I love this lapdesk, and recommend to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation as myself, or just likes to use their laptop on their actual lap.

Ideal bed desk
It is an ideal desk for working in bed. For those WFH very versatile and practical. He,ps save on heating when can work from bed. If any thing it could be slightly wider and longer and have a pen holder so you can also fit your note pad on there

Great except the mouse pad area
I had to return my first order because the mouse pad was peeling off. I received it on a really warm humid day and the product was all warm when I unboxed it. So I guess that melted the glue and the mousepad was vulnerable to peeling off. I will be storing it in a cool place the mouse pad might peel off. My replacement came the next day and my mouse pad was not peeling off. Then I also noticed that the oak grain design was different. Not sure if each piece is unique. I do want to feedback that the mousepad is really horrible anyway. I'm using Logitech's MX Anywhere 3 mouse and I find that it is not smooth with this mousepad. Any other surfaces are better. So I may consider peeling it off completely then pasting something more suitable. It doesn't bother me that much since I love using the lapgear for when I'm just chilling and watching Netflix in bed. I love the product for how light it is and the oak looks amazing. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I hope this lasts me a long time :)
