These threads are thicker than normal sewing threads but could be used as long as you use a needle with a bigger eye and adjust your tension

are these threads wound the correct way for brother machine

Not had any problems with them, they work fine on our Brother Innovis embroidery machine.

Can these threads be used on brother M240ED embroidery machine

Yes it can as I used it on my Brother M240ED before changing to my Brother V7 , I don't use any other embroidery thread. X
