Now I do mostly residential stuff, but came across a roof job that had a 90 foot run, so I bought this. I like it for it's capacity and 200-plus foot length. We were getting 7-10 lines before re-chalking. You do need a guy in the middle, the line is heavy and will sag at length. But it is the tool to have on a roof like that.I gave it 4 stars because it spits out chalk like crazy when you unreel it,(I use orange chalk, so what a mess), and don't get it near moisture. You will either- not be able to reel it in, or- never be able to unreel it again until you take it apart. Which I had to do, and can waste a lot of chalk and be a real mess in the shop. Nothing you can put in your tool pouch. The string is heavy duty compared to smaller ones. It is big and takes a lot of chalk to fill it up. Make sure you have enough. If you use it a lot you are going to have to buy chalk in the gallon containers.
