Nice break away lanyards
These worked great for me. Round cord is comfortable, and the swivel on the hook is a nice addition. Weight isn't bad, and it's easy to forget you're wearing it.

Need a safety lanyard?
I bought these to use at a ski area that insisted on hand scanning season passes until this year. I didn't want to risk being hung by a regular lanyard caught on a tree branch or the like and I refuse to wear a pass on my head like a special little mushroom. These stay closed constantly tugging them in and out of a jacket and weren't affected by cold. They are much longer than they need to be for my described purpose ( and I'm over 6'2), so I just tied knots in them to shorten. When day was done, I'd give them a yank to both take off AND test safety each time and they perform just like they are supposed to. If you need a lanyard in an active, moving environment, these do what they claim to do

It's a nice lanyard, no issues
Every so often you have to replace the lanyard your work badge hangs on. I got this because it had a quick release and a safety release. There are lots of lanyards just like this on Amazon and they are probably the same as this but I've had no issues with this one. It's made very well, doesn't bind on the neck or scratch. I got two in the set for a reasonable price and my coworkers asked where they could get the same one. So, I guess that means it gets 5 stars. :)
