My run is 19” round, what size topiary would I get? The 19 also?** A: The ball should be a few inches larger than the opening of the planter to achieve the look. **Q: How do you keep these from blowing away outdoors?** A: I used a bungee cord that I hooked up to the bottom of the ball & attached it through a cinder block amd onto the other side of the ball. It kept my planters weighted down & prevented the balls from being blown away. **Q: How do I anchor the ball in to my metal urn planter so it wont blow away on my front forch?** A: Several customers noted they tied a string from the ball to a weighted item (brick or other) to keep it in place. **Q: There are no instruction and it is impossible to connect the 2 half of the topiary ball. how do you connect them???** A: I had a terrible time connecting the two halves. The plastic fitting that went into the socket kept bending and wouldn’t fit. The zip ties that came with it were a joke. I had to purchase real zip ties in order to connect the two halves. I have 13” square pots and I bought both the 15” and 19” plants. Their guide suggested 15”. I personally like the 19” ones better as I feel they fill out the pot better. (I also liked the coloring on the 19” better). I’ve attached a photo of them side by side for comparison. You decide. I would definitely recommend these. The greenery is nice and thick - you can't see the inside/fakeness even up close. They were easy to put together - 2 spheres that snap together - I didn't even bother to use the extra twist ties because they snapped together so firmly. I followed another reviewers suggestion and placed a quart size plastic bag of sand inside the sphere before putting them together - this weighs them down nicely so they won't blow away... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Large faux boxwoods *by H*** on June 8, 2024* The faux boxwoods are a very substantial size. I love the variety of color of green in each boxwood. They took a little time to put together but it’s quick work between two people. We already had soil in our pots from last year so we just took some thin metal rods like the ones you use to cook meats or veggies on a barbecue to anchor the boxwoods in place. We placed the rods into the soil and pierced the boxwoods on top. This keeps the boxwoods in place so they wont fly away on windy days. I also added faux greenery around the edge of the pot for a more life like feel. My pots could have been a little larger but overall I like the look and I don’t have to keep watering live plants.
