Where I use it I was having trouble with the minnows getting out of the bottom. **Q: what are the dimensions of net?** A: depends on the size you bought mine is 4'x12'x1/4'' holes. **Q: Is this a cast net o** A: This is a flat net with poles that you scoop minnows. **Q: does this slide onto poles and can I order the poles?** A: It actually ties to the poles. You can order the poles but they are a little pricey. I was sort of disappointed when I saw them.
