## Overview

The Thrustmaster T300 Servo Base is a high-performance racing wheel base compatible with PS5, PS4, and PC, featuring an industrial brushless servomotor, dual-belt frictionless drive, and H.E.A.R.T Hall Effect sensors for ultra-precise, smooth, and silent force feedback. With adjustable rotation up to 1080°, quick-release wheel compatibility, and robust mounting options, it offers a fully customizable and immersive racing simulator foundation for serious gamers and sim racers.

## Description

The Thrust master T300RS Racing Wheel Servo Base, released under official PS4 / PS3 license and PC compatible, is the cornerstone of a racing simulator that every player can configure according to their requirements. It revolves around an industrial-class brushless motor that delivers smooth and seamless Force Feedback effects that are both reactive and latency-free. The rotation angle is adjustable up to 1080 degrees. The drive mechanism features a dual-belt system that provides realistic, smooth and vibration-free driving sensations by reducing mechanical constraints as much as possible. At the very heart of this machine, H.E.A.R.T Hall Effect Accurate Technology delivers extreme precision, thanks to its contactless magnetic sensors. This technology offers precision that won't decrease over time, with 16-bit resolution (i.e. 65,536 values throughout the steering axis). And to ensure that this unit always delivers maximum performance, its firmware can be updated by means of its built-in internal memory. The Thrust master T300RS Servo Base is fully ecosystem-ready: players can select add-ons to obtain the ultimate racing wheel. A pedal set, such as the T3PA or T3PA-PRO three-pedal pedal set by Thrust master, will be required to experience the thrills of ultra-realistic racing sensations. And since a clutch pedal is designed to enable lightning-speed manual gear shifts, users can of course complete the T300RS Servo Base with a gearbox, such as the Thrust master TH8A. Lastly, to hone their equipment's configuration according to their racing preference and the type of car and competition, users can opt for any of the currently available Thrust master wheels: the Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On, Ferrari 458 Challenge Wheel Add-On, and the TM Leather 28 GT Wheel Add-On. The T300RS Servo Base comprises a wheel base and attachment system. Just add your choice of Thrust master Wheels, Pedal Set and if desired, optional Gearbox, and you're ready to race. PC compatibility (Windows XP/Vista/7/8).

Review: Very nice wheel, with very few complaints. I'm very happy with it, and saved a fair bit over a Fanatec CS setup. - I'm very happy with my T300, though I wish the housing wasn't quite so large. Taking off the top cover it looks like a lot of space could have been saved with a little effort on Thrustmaster's part, making the odd housing much easier to accomodate for in a dashboard build such as my own. Instead, I needed to carve my dashboard in order to fit the T300. I suppose I can't complain much on this part, but if there's onething I'd change; this is it. The ability to swap wheels is very nice, but as I change between a circle and F1 wheel often I wish the connecting collar was metal instead of plastic. As you must insert a screw into the collar in order to secure a wheel to it, my collar's screwhole has become just a little loose; causing concern. Functionally it still works and I haven't felt that one of my wheels is going to fall off or wiggle around yet, I'm concerned for the future. The software suite that Thrustmaster uses is one of my favorites, and I've not had a detection issue with any game I've tried as of yet. The wheel, all of its buttons and switches, the pedal inputs and the shifter are all on the same page of the suite. Comparitively, Fanatec devices require a different configuration page for each connected device which is frustrating at times. I didn't like the T3PA Pro pedals at all and opted to use Fanatec CSV3 Pedals instead. The Thrustmaster's software suite still picks up on the Fantec's inputs and shows them on the configuration page with the T300; which is very, very nice. I also use a Fanatec CSS1.5 Shifter, which also works on the Thrustmaster configuration page. Neither fanatec devices can be connected to the wheel, which isn't a complaint, but an observation; which is why I was surprsised to see them show up in Thrustmaster's software. I've tried a Fanatec Clubsport base + wheel configuration and found the force feedback to be a bit stronger, but strangely not as smooth or precise. I'm very happy I decided to go with the Thrustmaster instead, and the ease of using other hardware with it makes me very happy. The T300 is also significantly cheaper than a Fantec wheel setup, although not quite as customizable. I'm alright with this, as I feel the majority of users won't want to change their wheels out often (or even own more than one). All in all, I'm very happy.
Review: The Only & Best Upgrade I've Got In a Long Time - I came from a Logitech Driving Force GT & the T300 is a huge step up from that. I got the servo base alone with the Ferrari 458 Challenge Wheel and T3PA Pedals. Considering it is brand new, the dual belt driven, brushless motor wheel is the smoothest thing I've felt and it spins more than enough for anyone looking to drift. I can literally feel the wind in my hands as it spins. I can't speak for the longevity of this wheel base, but I'm definitely going to take care of it while also putting it through the ringer. (I bought a used one from desertcart before buying this brand new one. The used one was absolutely thrashed on the inside for some reason.) Also, the table clamp works on desks with short lips and a bar. I was actually concerned if this was even going to work, but to my surprised it cleared flawlessly! I know someone out there probably has some sort of cheap desk like mine and I think that’s helpful to know.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you connect CSL elite pedals to this base?**
A: The CSL pedals will not connect to the T300 servo. They would have to be plugged in directly to your device.

**Q: necesito saber si es de corriente 220 v**
A: Llego de 110 volt , le compre un transformador 110-220 y no he tenido problemas. Anda bien el T300. Yo lo uso en PS4.

**Q: If i get wheel adapter for third party wheels (no ps buttons) could i still navigate menus with stock ps controller?**
A: Not sure but maybe you cannot activate the wheel. As you know we need PS button for joiner joysticks. Mine is nıt activating by itself. I need to press PS button on wheel and its being active.

**Q: 110v or 220v ?**
A: All product shipped in North America comes with a 110V adaptor

### ⭐ A good wheel for advance users, step up from the G29! (UPDATED 10/11/18) (UPDATE+ 8/6/2019)
*by M***8 on January 24, 2018*

Had this base for a month at a discounted price, worth every penny so far. The horror story's about this wheel is not present at least what I got. I own a G29 wheel for about 2 years till it gave out on me summer of 2017. I was sad that it broke but it was limited. I started to work and got this wheel including the add-ons and I am very pleased. Wheel is responsive and quick, FFB is smoother than the G29, The twist clamp for the wheel rim is strong and don't get loose (But the screw for it feels like it goes no-where), A handful of add-on's from Thrustmaster and 3rd party mods, quite, and the clamp is strong. But it have some falls though, The Add-on's can add really quickly even the cheapest ones, No PS4 wheel add-on to buy (But this is nit-picking), One of my power cord from the base is a bit loose so a slight flick on it will shut it off and back on. I don't know about the mounts but it do have some mounting holes for stands and sim-rigs. This rim is the best bang for the buck for Mid-High end consumers! (UPDATE): T300 base broke in 10 months. I knew it for the reliability but it lasted more then my expectations strange enough. And no, I didn't crank up the setting all the way up and play it. You're really better off with a G29/920. Those lasted for me in over a year. (UPDATE+): Well it's finally come down to this. Broke in less then 2 years (1 year and 9 month of owning it) while taking care of it. Once every month I wipe it down with a rag and use canned air spray Even got it fixed IN warranty and started working properly (Don't play it a lot with it). Now it's dead every-time I plug it in. Yes this happen before when it IN warranty but now it's out-of-warranty. So that's a $200+ fix which the base itself is around $250, I paid around $190... Guess this is the end of my Trustmaster journey. Nice while it lasted...
