Review: Working great in our raised garden so far! - Despite the reviews, I ordered this for our raised garden I just built and it's been working great so far! Really wanted to get a solar based irrigation system and with no running water where the raised garden is located, it seemed like there weren't many options. I did run into some questions during the install but when I emailed Irrigatia, they were super fast to respond and help out. A couple of things that tripped me up and might help others here. 1. I had a bad battery in the unit and didn't know until I tested them. The light was blinking per the instructions but the pump would not run. After emails back and forth with Irrigatia, I found that the light will still blink (with regular sequences) even if there's a dead battery in there. 2. The unit comes with two water sensors. One goes above the little water cage and one below. I think the manual just references one water sensor. 3. Speaking of water, I picked up a bucket from Home Depot to keep water in and drilled a hole in the lid to feed the sensor into it. Working great. 3. When I finally got it working, it was loud! Ran for at least 6 hrs on the first run before it settled into its routine. Seemed like it was running on setting #5 at first. I have it set to #3 now and when it runs, it is still loud but it's only running every 3 hrs now. I think that's about it. We might setup another raised garden and I would definitely put one of these in there if we do!
Review: supposed to irrigate 12 plants - am still learning how to set up 12 attachments some of drippers were mis molded and inoperatable, also uses british sizing of hoses which are smaller inside diameter hoses on don't match up well to us standard parts but pump is powerfull and settings are totally different than us setup methods

Terrible. Do not waste $100 on this piece of junk. Did not work. The only thing it did do was to charge the battery. The pump would never activate. Left it on a table outside in the sun for 3 days. It would not even transfer a single drop of water from the rain barrel to a bowl on top of it. There is no way to turn it on manually which is a bad feature. Needed to wait days just to watch it do nothing. The light indicates the battery is fully charged. Thats all it does. Ordered a replacement. If that does not work I'm building my own with an arduino. I'll post the instructions here so others can avoid this. Great idea. Too bad it's total garbage.
