A couple of my babies continued to struggle with addition/ subtraction, but after playing this game, they began to pick them up quicker- or find strategies to help them. Those that knew there facts were given multiplication and division to play, which made them more confident with. I now own several sets of math war (multiplication, division, and addition/ subtraction)! Parents: PLEASE buy these for you kids, you will not regret it. They figure out that math can be fun and master facts a lot quicker! Addition/ Subtraction would be great for first grade up. Very easy, fun, and non-intimidating way to learn facts (even if they need a number line/ chart at first).
