Not a deal breaker for me. It is a great quality product and does work very well. I used it for a boat aft deck light. The good news is that it fits perfectly where an existing 6.75 inch incandescent light was before, the screw holes and size are perfect. If you have an existing older style light which is that size, it will interchange perfectly. I love the blue light for mood lighting and also purchased and installed 2 caprerra bridge lights , also Lumitec and are also blue and white. The result at night is awesome! Lumitec makes very high quality products. The blue lighting at night is very cool and very bright when you change them to white.
