The git repository had just been taken over by another author and the documentation is pretty murky. It took me about 2 hours to comb through and finally get the steps I needed to get this going on a Raspberry Pi but I am now feeding audio to radarbox with minimal issue. Some audio is surrounded by static but once the weather breaks and I can install this outside I am sure that issue will resolve itself. If you would say your technical and troubleshooting abilities are at or below average, I wouldn't try to set this up yet. Keep an eye on the github repo and once that and the radarbox site install instructions become more clear then go for it. There is a download for a 'legacy' standalone application installation, that might work without internet. But It seems they want you to use an app (phone or ipad) or a website interface. **Q: Is this a rtl sdr with a 118-136mhz filter and amplifier or something more than that? will it work with gnuradio & rtlsdr-airband?** A: Hi, This receiver has an RF amplifier and a filter that is designed for the aircraft band. That makes this receiver preform better as an aircraft communications receiver. with less susceptibility to interference from strong signals outside the band. It is, otherwise, a generic rtf-sdr radio and should work with any software that the generic receivers work with.
