The lid is a little hard to get on and off, and sometimes it makes me nervous about popping it open and a blade goes flying (as we all know blade teeth can be broken fairly easily) but so far, no issues! It does what it needs to do, and I may be getting another in the future as my blade collection is large, and still growing.
