## Description

The Arcadia ProT5 UV-B Reptile Light Kit arrives complete with high quality electronics, a highly effective but removable reflector and a choice of High Output T5 UVB lamp. This easy to use Kit can be fixed easily inside a vivarium, rested upon a wire meshed glassed terrarium or even hung within an enclosure (where safe to do so). Its sleek design and specially curved reflector will ensure that you use less space but project as much light forward as possible. The Kit also arrives with a free link cable which allows multiple units to be powered from a suitable single power source. The ProT5Kit reflector has 2 angles of reflection from the side of each curve. This means that ProT5 projects high levels of UV rich light directly beneath the unit at around 12 inches to create a basking zone but then also provides a wide flood as light spreads out over distance. This will allow you to create a suitable UV-B provision for any species and over a suitably wide area. The reflector is also easy to remove and clean. The Arcadia ProT5Kit is available in three lengths and three standard HO T5 wattages. 2.4% Full-Spectrum+ UV-B - 6% UV-B D3 - 12% UV-B D3+ - 14% UV-B DragonLamp. There is also an 8w Standard Output T5 version of ProT5 for our ShadeDweller lamp, designed specifically for use with Shade Dwelling species such as the Leopard Gecko, Crested Gecko, Hatchling Snakes, Amphibians and Inverts. Care should be taken in very wet environments. The Arcadia Slimline luminaire, UVFLOOD range and Ultraseal electronic controllers all offer IP65-67 protection. Review: Well worth the money. - Since my son put this in my tortoises vivarium she has been so much happier, she seems to have come alive completely. I thought it was a little expensive until my son said i have to change the bulb every six months. To see my tortoise 🐢 as lively as she is now is well worth the money, it is a UVB strip light.
Review: Tortoise loves it. - Got this because I had not done so previously and it IS a requirement for Reptiles, this one in particular for Desert Dwellers. My tortoise had been a bit ill beforehand, I thought it was an eye infection, but as soon as I put this light up and turned it on he opened his eyes and was more normal. Now a few weeks later he is acting completely normal and seems to have gotten 100% better. Great product, the only thing I could say negative about it is that the cover for the light is a little flimsy - although if you're generally careful with it it should be completely fine.

**Q: Does this need a transformer or controller unit? Or does it just plug in and work straight from the box? Thanks**
A: Just needs clipping to roof of bibarium & plugs in. Has built in transformer

**Q: What size bulb will fit? I need the 39w which is 34 in.**

**Q: Our tortoise house is 33cm high, is this ok to fit inside at the top or will it be too close to the tortoise?**
A: I am about that distance away and it’s fine, the only issue I had is the trailing wire as the tortoise likes to climb on top off its hide and pull it out as it runs under the roof. If you have it out the way it will be fine.
