Thank you to the grower. I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter who was born and raised in California with a plethora of Avocados and decided to move to Virginia where they charge a small fortune for one avocado anytime of the year and more in winter, if you can even find them. She said they arrived with 1-2 ripe and ready to eat and as she was taught, you store the rest in the fridge and take 1-2 out and put in a paper bag in a dark place for a few days when you are ready to eat a few more...this allowed her to eat the case of avocados over a 3 week period and enjoy then during the winter in Virginia.I will absolutely continue buying these for my daughter throughout the year as a special treat!! Great product and price. ### ⭐ A great idea, and potentially great in practice *by A***N on October 25, 2021* unfortunately out of the 2 boxes of avocados, I got 0 useful avocados. Most were just blackened throughout. I got approximately 2 teaspoons of avocado flesh that was edible. They felt correct, firm with a small amount of give near the stem. Pulling the stem was a harbinger of doom - dark gray or black, meaning the fruit inside was likely the same, and so it went. Unfortunate. I use one avocado per day so 2 dozen needs 24 days to stay edible. Once they begin to ripen they go in fridge where they stay PERFECT until used.
