I purchased the black version first and then decided to order the white one as well. Even though the dresses are the same style, the look is very different between the black and white. Both are very classic and would be appropriate for many occasions. Accessorizing takes this dress from casual to formal.It comes with a separate slip so it is ready to wear right out of the package. Since the slip is separate, it would also be possible to wear a contrasting bright slip underneath for a totally different look--red or bright blue would be awesome. The white version of the dress looks elegant with pastel colored slips also. The lace outer dress fits close to the body, so it might be good to order a size up from your usual, depending on your body type. The slip was stretchy so it would have fewer fit issues. The 3/4 length sleeves are good for wear in a variety of seasons. I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not True To Size. I would love to switch this out for a small and give a much better review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute, versatile and well constructed *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2016* This outer part of this dress seems to be of really good quality material - the lace is not flimsy or prone to catching and snagging or ripping - which is of concern to me since I have two small kids. The underslip of the dress is a bit thin, and I feel like the straps are really long (I have really short shoulders though), making the under slip a bit low cut for my tastes. It would be nice if the underslip was attached to the dress as it can ride up or the straps fall down. I really like this dress and feel like it has potential to be worn dressy or more casual depending on the shoes and accessories that are paired with it. It was a little looser than I anticipated in the waist - I was hoping it would nip in a bit more, but it's still flattering and hides the little extra bulge from babies :) Overall I'm happy with this dress, feel like it will hold up well, and will get a lot of use since it's so versatile. There are a few small things mentioned above that could make it a bit better, but I'm happy with this purchase.I received this dress at a discounted price in exhange for an honest and unbiased review.
