The case is different from standard snap-on cases in a few ways. One major point is that it is meant to be attached more permanently as it goes on with screws (screws and a jeweler's screwdriver are included in the package) and the buttons are loose (held in place by tape initially and not really attached to the case) so that they work more smoothly with the iPhones buttons. You don't need to press them as hard as those on standard snap-on cases, but it does mean you have to be very careful while installing the bumpers so that they don't slip out of place once the tape is removed and while you are screwing the bumpers on. This is not hard to do, but it does mean you have to let gravity help you out so things don't slip out of place during installation. I believe this is the sort of case which you may want to have attached in an Apple store if you're clumsy with small parts. I haven't used the case long enough to know, but I do wonder if the structure will prevent or limit any sort of bending of the iPhone 6 since it acts as a solid frame around the outside.The case is also different in that it is designed for elegance. The crystals installed on the sides are very glittery, but also inset such as not to look ostentatious. It's tasteful and elegant and the crystals are genuine. I tested the validity of this claim by examining the facets. The glass that Swarovski uses meets in a certain way (which is why they are more attractive than standard rhinestones) and will reflect light in a particular fashion. I didn't inspect every crystal, but those I did make it appear as if these are genuine. The color is also quite appealing. It's a subtle tone which blends with the white crystals without obscuring or upstaging them.
