Review: Sturdy! Anolon! Excellent! - I had used those folding leaves type steamers forever, and finally got tired of replacing them every couple of years when they fell apart, so I popped for this one. Very glad I did. I am using it with my grandmother's ancient (well over 50 years old) Revere Ware copper bottom pans, and it works very well. I like the glass lid just on its own too. I have a small Anolon non stick saute pan, and this lid fits it perfectly and, bonus!, is see through, so I can keep an eye on my morning eggs. I have kept my folding leaves steamer for occasional use for larger quantities -- like if I need to hard cook a dozen eggs instead of two to six. But, that lone exception, this is 1000% better. I have never purchased an Anolon pan that I haven't loved.

I had used those folding leaves type steamers forever, and finally got tired of replacing them every couple of years when they fell apart, so I popped for this one. Very glad I did.
