I also wanted something with a top so the milk could be covered (normally it would be in a bottle so this wouldn't have been an issue) so nothing flies or falls into the milk. I can tell you these cups are the best!!! They passed everything I needed without a problem. Now the baby is recovered and some I used for craft projects. These are great to pour paint in so each child has his/her own cup and if they don't use it all right away, just put the top on and take a break. They also are great for Jello Gulps for the kids (adults may prefer Jello Shots). I even used it to put some hot sauce in so my husband could take his taco to work and make it there instead of him having to skip the sauce because if I put it on in the morning, he'd have a soggy Taco by noon.
