- The very high wet boiling point of MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE (204 °C/399 °F) is higher than that of conventional non-silicone based DOT 5.1 (180 °C/356 °F mini) and DOT 4 (155 °C/311°F mini) brake fluids and therefore maintains braking efficiency under wet conditions. Brake fluids tend to absorb moisture from the air, which lowers the boiling point and increases the risk of "vapour lock" phenomenon. The wet boiling point is measured by humidifying the product with 3Percent water
