The lid won't shut if you have any more than a one layer tortilla shell. The lid on mine broke on the second use. Mine got swiftly thrown in the trash to never be seen again. It makes quick work of making quesadillas at home. It is hard to shut all the way if you put too much in your quesadillas so be mindful of that and don’t force it shut. Just close it down and press and you’re good to go. It cleans easily, heats up fast and has a drip tray for any leaky oils that may happen. It creates perfect sear-lines in the quintessential triangular shape which makes it super easy to cut when they’re done. I love this thing and I use it ALL THE TIME.
