Review: Nice little cutters - These are not a huge pair of cutters but I have been cutting through every wire and cable like butter. These blades are sharp and seem to be very durable. Can’t go wrong with the brand, it never disappoints. I will say though that about the biggest these things will cut is about a 0-0 gauge and that’s a stretch. But I’ve done it and they cut right through. If you get any bigger than that just get bigger cutters.
Review: Magic or sorcery? Who knows? - How do these things work better than bigger loppers? I don't know? Regardless it's some kind of voodoo that works and you owe it to yourself as a proper electrician to try them out. The handles are SHOCKINGLY small, don't angry poo when you hold them, they cut probably 10x easier than the next size larger Klein cable cutters. Like I said, I don't know how but they just do. 1AWG copper, 12-3 MC, seems to be the sweet spot. They obviously cut larger but personally if it's 1/0 copper or 12-6 / 10-3MC I usually just grab the big 24" loppers or the battery loppers. For all the daily stuff that's smaller than 1/0 copper or 12-4 mc these things are amazing and I gave my old Klein 63050 to an apprentice. These new ones cut WAY better than those slightly bigger older style ones.

These are not a huge pair of cutters but I have been cutting through every wire and cable like butter. These blades are sharp and seem to be very durable. Can’t go wrong with the brand, it never disappoints. I will say though that about the biggest these things will cut is about a 0-0 gauge and that’s a stretch.
