I was just a little confused about this one rubber item that came with it, as the manual didn't specify what it was for. Turns out, it's a cover for the webcam for when you're not using it, for privacy.I already had a directional microphone, so I didn't use the webcam for its mic, but the image quality and FPS are great.The only things I could criticize are two-fold. One, the USB cable coming out of it goes down in the direction where you would expect your monitor to be, as it perches on top of it. It's just slightly annoying that you have to bend the cable backwards, otherwise it just tilts your webcam slightly to the right (I'm a bit OCD about these things). Two, the camera has a fisheye effect, but as far as I can tell, there's no easily accessible software or settings to change this.Regardless, it is a fantastic product for the price. Probably the cheapest one I found, and it does the main thing really well: crisp, clean, high quality video feed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good. *by S***Y on November 12, 2020* Was looking for a webcam with a tripod because my daughter needed a better webcam. The one on her chromebook cam wasn't clear. Found this one for a low price and the pictures said a tripod was included. Read the reviews and some did say a tripod was included. They were right. So I thought we needed to download something for the camera to work. Nothing was needed and worked great for my daughter's chromebook. We did several tests with each other setting up google meets and ask my sister to send her a google meet. Webcam works great. I'm glad for the tripod because to me the webcam is a bit heavy. For the price, this is great. I really hope this product lasts a long time.Update... A weird glitch happened since we started using it. My daughter uses this with her chromebook. When she was done using the camera, she unplugged it and it shut down her laptop. It happened two days ago. Today was fine but I hope it won't happen again. The webcam still works. Just weird. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good camera with some missing features *by L***A on October 1, 2020* This is good, it installs right away, but it does not have a software. What that means is that you cannot adjust the camera captioning, in terms of color, brightness, contrast etc. For me that is not ideal. In addition, as I am teaching classes online, and the focus needs to change depending on how far I am from the camera, I wish this camera had a zoom feature, but it does not. Overall: good product for the price, image quality is good, but if you are looking for something more sophisticated and adjustable to your needs, this is not it.
