We live in a 2nd Floor flat so this has been Indisposable for us! Only time you can smell it is when you push down the trap door to throw away the nappy. We do use nappy bags also, so the smell only really comes when bin almost filled. And when changing the whole thing, if done correctly using their bags, you cannot smell anything. Best baby shower gift ever!
