There are no inserts currently offered at this time available on Amazon. **Q: Anyone tried it on a plastic mailbox?** A: Unfortunately our doors do not work on plastic mailboxes. Metal mailboxes have a lip at the front opening which is what our doors use to snap into place. Plastic mailboxes do not have this same metal lip, without that our door will not snap on properly. **Q: is this paintable?** A: Yes the door is paintable, but you may want to get the natural unpainted door rather than the white painted door. We have had a number of customers paint the door with good success. Todd - Owner **Q: Are number stickers included?** A: No, number stickers are not included. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works exactly for what it is Intended - Worth Every penny *by J***E on July 18, 2022* For most that have a brick mailbox and cannot replace the entire mailbox this is a very easy and cheap alternative. My door was rusty and eventually broke. I chose this as a replacement and repainted the mailbox as well to match the new clean white. Mounted it in about 10 seconds once my mailbox paint dried for a few days. Been about 2 weeks and no issue yet.If asked for possible improvements the only thing I could suggest is that there is a small circular magnet at the top of the door that keeps it closed. Mine came off after about 2 weeks of use. Could potentially use a stronger adhesive but I honestly was expecting that to happen because the magnet itself was a pretty strong magnet for it's size. With it gone the door stays closed on it's own with no issues, so again it's not a big deal to me at all. I will eventually put it back on with epoxy or something rated for a likely overkill amount of weight just to ensure it never comes off. Again, it's honestly really not needed if it were to come off you don't want to use it.The door is otherwise in there nice and firm, will not budge and with the tabs it looks like it was designed to be removed if you chose to get a new mailbox eventually.overall 5 of 5 anyone thinking about using this with your standard size mailbox don't waste your time restoring your old broken door like I was going to. And mine was so rusted that I couldn't think anything will be a fix.However, this turned out to be a great fit, very easy to install even if the mailbox is rusted to almost nothing.
