These open bins act like drawers in my shelving unit; I can leave the lids open, or store them closed. I put LABELS on them, and can store just about anything (I definitely wouldn’t try to put an auto engine in one though). I use them for clothes, canning supplies, small tools, as they are great for organizing. I haven’t tried, but my best guess is that they would be great too, for transporting goods for sales, and would work well with a dolly for moving stacks of them. This size is 13” tall, 18” long … a perfect size for a woman to handle easily as well.
