I am just a college student who likes to solve a cube every now and then. A friend let me try his Megaminx and I loved it!! I usually have mine next to me while I am doing homework. So every hour or so I will pick it up and solve it (takes me roughly 15 minutes. I am slow.) If you can solve a 3x3 cube, you can solve this. You only need a few more moves. It wasn't sticky at all when I received it. The rotation is smooth on 11 of the 12 faces, but the tension seems all wrong on one face. Very little tolerance for error on alignment when turning. Maybe i have a bad copy. It's still playable, i just see myself getting it off the shelf much once i solve it.Updated: after taking apart, lubricating the core and retensioning it is turning better. Even though it arrived dripping with lube, the core still needed it.
