The bottle itself is insufficient for simply snipping off the cap and using the nozzle to spread the material. It just leaves a huge line, or pile, which isnt what you want - they'll just walk right around it instead of trekking thru it - you want a fine dusting. This stuff does very slightly irritate the lungs, so wear a respirator or have something to help protect yourself. There's no odor to it, as far as I can tell. After spraying a few puff around the room there was a noticeable haze in the air, and I had to clean off my cameras because of the dusty film that was covering them.
