Is this usb adapter USB 2.0 or 3.0 ? I just bought an AC 1900 wireless router, do you think this is the best wireless adapter for such a router?

They had a newer USB adapter that was 3.0, but it didn't receive as good of reviews as this unit. This unit is only 2.0 but don't let that stop you. Mine gets great reception and faster speeds than every other WiFi device in the house. I've been nothing but impressed.

I do not know. I do not do online pc gaming.

I have a wireless g. Will the n work with my present computer?

Yes it will, N is the newest technology but these adapters are always made downward compatible. So it will work with B, A, and G networks; along with N.

does it work with window 7 64 bit

I just tried out on a win 7 64 bit and it worked just fine with a driver download.
