Does it flex a lot or is it rigid?** A: It is rigid enough for sharpening purposes. If you are trying to grind stock away it will flex a bit. Personally I think this attachment should have been included with the sharpener, I don't use it without now. **Q: Could this attachment be fitted to a worksharp 2000 even if means some small manufacture or modification . Kind regards steve** A: There is nowhere on the 2000 to attach it but you could possibly mount to a base with make an auxiliary stand out of some stable wood if you have access to a good drill press and bits.
