I enjoyed this movie very much.  It was typical in the way it showed how true love can be right in front of you and if you aren't paying attention, you can miss it.  But in the end Danny and Melissa found their way back to each other, knowing that in their hearts, that is where they belonged all along.  The trials and tribulations that they experienced we're just to make them even more thankful when they returned to each other with open arms and hearts and experienced the true meaning of loving one another.

The rating:2 STARS for the story. 2 STARS for the actors leads & supporting cast.1 STAR alone for actress/model Corinna Harney (Harney-Jones) .Total:"Pitcher And The Pin-Up" hits a 5 STAR home run.Even though the song "Desperado" is not in this film;the song would be a way to explain this movie "at end of movie the leads came to their senses" .If you do not know of the song "Desperado" do a search for the lyrics &/or get the song via Amazon either by the Eagles,Linda Ronstadt or Karen Carpenter.

This was a fantastic movie from start to finish with each subplot flowing smoothly into the next one through out the film.Most sports movies end with the main characters winning a championship, or overcoming astronomical odds.  This film had a refreshing ending which was exceptionally creative and what the watcher felt was meant to be from the beginning.I usually wait a while for the price to come down to purchase most DVD's, but I want this movie now and am ordering it today.
