When you stand over the ball, if you see only the front ring, your eyes are too far forward. If you only see the back ring, your eyes are too far back. When you see both rings you are in the perfect putting position. I have used this Eye up many times and it gives very accurate lines for straight putting . it has 7 different lines for what suits your game. it is plastic and can crush and break and my only complaint . the marker that comes with works great for this Alignment tool .
