Baroque Stringed Instrument Action Ruler Gauge Luthier Measuring Tool for Electric Acoustic Guitar Bass Ukulele Mandolin Banjo SAR-10

Purchased this to check the action on my vintage Guild guitar. It works great. I was able to check and adjust the action after the guitar sat idle for more than 20 years. If you plan to maintain your stringed instrument yourself, this is an essential tool at a good price.

string height/width/neck position. very helpful

This is for the: Baroque Stringed Instrument Action Ruler Gauge Luthier Measuring Tool for Electric Acoustic Guitar Bass Ukulele Mandolin Banjo SAR-10The gauge is well made. The imprinted lines and number are readable and will work for basic use. For those who do not realize it, it is very small - a little larger than a credit card. That said, I need to use strong magnifiers to actually use it. I wish the string action marks were solid instead of shaded, it would be easier to read. But, it does work. For the price I recommend it.

Sturdy metal construction. I did not expect the multiple scales - now I'll have to find other uses for the product.

This baroque ruler was really accurate and handy in helping set a low action for my les Paul

Don’t forget to remove the protective plastic on both sides of the ruler.

Great product price is a bit high though

Pretty decent item, especially for the price. Probably wouldn’t mic out as quite as accurate as the high-end versions, but will get it done for occasional DIY action maintenance.
