Awesome so far
I’ve had this for about a month now. I live in an apartment. This machine has saved me money and trips to the shared laundry facilities.I’m not even sure if I’m allowed to have one in my apartment; I lost the move in papers, lol. However, I’m not worried about anyone hearing it, because it’s not that noisy at all. If the load is heavy or unbalanced, it will sound a lil crazy. Otherwise, the loudest thing is the beeps telling you it’s finished.I purchased a dolly to put it on. It was a bit of a struggle to put in on because one, I was by myself. Two, the handles on the sides aren’t in the same place. One is more to the front; the other the back. Weird. It’s not that heavy to lift though. It cleans my clothing really well. I can add 2 pairs of cargos, and 4 polos and a t shirt or 2, and they will all come out clean and spun almost completely dry! Same thing with 3 bath towels and some washcloths. I wash my queen sized sheets, flat, fitted and pillowcases in one go with no problem. One tip: try to ‘donut’ your clothing. Don’t just dump them in. Layer them in a ring around the drum as much as possible. It can hold a good amount of clothing but don’t overdo it.The water inlet hose was east to connect with the included adapter. It’s in my kitchen, so I only use cold water. You can actually use warm water if you want. However, make sure you only use hot water through the proper inlet. There’s two of them on the back of the machine. It says to use powder detergent, and it has a little holder for it, but I use liquid because that’s what I have on hand. As with any machine, a little goes a long way. Especially nowadays where liquid detergent is usually concentrated. I also use fragrance beads. They dissolve really well, no residue. The water fills up according to the load you select. If for any reason you need to stop the cycle, press the pause button first and let everything come to a stop. I feel this is better than opening the lid all sudden. I have mine draining into the sink. The hose has a hook for the sink edge, but I also just tie the hose to the inlet hose so it doesn’t spray wildly if it somehow unhooks off the edge. When storing the washing machine, I lay the ends of both hoses into the machine and leave the lid open so it can dry out.Overall, I feel this is a great investment for single person or two in an apartment with not so much space. If you treat it well, it will hold up.

I love my Comfee Ninja Beast
That's what I call it bt, my Ninja Beast. I love it!! I was very skeptical buying a compact mini washer like this. I spent months in searching, reading reviews and specs. I didn't know anyone who had one like this. My neighbor has one that has the dual tub and I didn't understand the concept of those and felt as if those were more work in the long run. I needed a washer, I was tired of having to go to the laundry mats with the virus. I was tired of tip toeing around my other neighbors laundry room late at night (she said I was always welcome to use, not a problem, but I didn't want to inconvenience the other neighbors in case they weren't keen on the idea, a respect thing). But it would eat my quarters and late at night just felt uncomfortable at times, not to mention sleepy. So I eventually gave in to the idea and after months of my research, even months of sitting on this exact model, I caved.Delivery was on time and prompt. The delivery guys had to bring it up stairs, I felt bad, but I also knew that this wasn't too heavy, roughly 50lbs, 2 men, they got this. They even offered to bring it through my door for me but my balcony was the perfect place for it to be to unbox unwrap and dispose of it all right away. I struggled at first with the maneuverability, but I got a hang of it and although it still isn't that easy to move, it is easy enough (about to buy a portable washer dolly with legs, problem easily solved). The exterior of the machine was a surprise to me. I didn't expect it to be so sleek and sexy like lol. Good job Comfee on the colors and design of the exterior.Next up was the installation and im not joking here when I say a 2 year old could install it (Although, their strength isn't up to par with making sure those hoses are secured tight lol). I was so gidee to use this that I didn't even hesitate. Read the manual ✔ ran rapid load to clean out and check to see if it works ✔now for the real test, my fiances work clothes. So this is where some will have a problem. The tub is small, yes. But that is to be expected with a mini compact anything, right? I have played around with the combination of his work clothes. He's 6'2 and does sheet rock for a living so you can imagine he's not a tiny guy and his clothes aren't so clean at the end of the day. While I find myself having to do less amount of his clothes, including work pants, I don't mind because I am in the comfort of my own home and right now I have time. So I have found that doing his jeans and socks are a better combination vs mixing all if it because of the balance. Which is another amazing thumbs up to Comfee. If it goes crazy, and which it will if you do not load properly and not over load it, it shuts right off and beeps to warn you "hey, I need adjusting over here". Just adjust and press start. However, and this is why it's crucial to load correct capacity and properly because it starts over at the rinse cycle (which living in california is considered wasteful). But I pay attention, and if I hear it start to go off center during the restabilizing process (spin slowly, speed up, slow down, spin faster longer, speed up, slow down. It does this a few times to help stabilize the load in the tub on its own) I will simply press pause and adjust the clothes and press start and I do not have to worry about the water wasting. I have been able to clean queen sized bedding. A quilt, fitted sheets, top sheet and 4 pillow cases without issues. I just would recommend letting the water fill a bit first before putting the blanket in as it will help to bring the bulk of the quilt down, which helped me to not have to stabilize again. I can't wash the bigger fluffier blankets and items but that's okay. It cleans everything just fine and does it quietly. Sometimes I have to check to see if its spinning that's how quiet it is. I can hear my ac unit, which is outside obviously, more from the furthest room in the house vs the washer. Clothes come out pretty dry, damp of course, but not sloppy damp or soaked still. I hang dry, always have, as it preserves the fabrics as well conserves energy. I know, im a total Californian. All in all I love it!!!This washer is definitely energy efficient. I wanted to see a few bills first before I determined that it was or wasn't energy efficient for me and my living quarters etc etc. I consider myself a decent energy conserver as I was brought up to be mindful of my use as a child as well as, Hey California! So I don't do laundry during peak hours, especially during summer. I use cold water, and I try to pay attention to the weather report and outside temp. If it's going to be a 100 or higher that means my ac is getting full priority that day and is not a laundry day. Honestly, this machine has hardly affected my bill. So keep in mind that being energy efficient doesn't mean you don't have to be mindful of all the other things that use power. It means that with the proper knowledge and steps, it can, will, and is energy efficient.Would I recommend??? Absolutely!!! 100 times over I'd recommend. It's a ninja, and a beast in one™️. It's Comfee

Powerful and Great!
Edit: January 27, 2026: clean clothes abound! Still no issues, still washing great! Haven’t had an accidental spill since I learned what to do and how to use it. Can’t recommend it enough!Edit: May/2025: still working GREAT! It’s probably paid for itself already, but I did have a leak in my kitchen sink so my apartment people put a new faucet in and now I’m unable to use the kitchen sink because the connections aren’t right. No worries, however! I was able to take my shower head/hose in along with the hose of the washer to my local hardware store and they found the correct fitting for me to hook them up that way so I’m able to wash again, just in the bathroom instead of the kitchen. A much smaller space, so that con is all on me. I’ve done quite a few loads and it’s still washing away and working great!Original review: This machine is a little beast! I delivered it to my grandpa’s house, which means I had to load it up into my car to get to my place, and that took two people. Getting it out and into my apartment took another two people, so make sure you have some help or some extra super strong muscles to move this thing on your own. Especially up and down stairs, as the box (which I tried cutting hand-holds into without success because it ripped) is awkward. I did order the dolly which was suggested to buy with it and I am glad I did. I would never be able to maneuver this thing around my apartment without wheels. As for the washing part: Extremely easy to set up. I did have a little trial-and-error with connecting it to my kitchen sink; the pressure would build and pop the connector piece off of the actual faucet. I noticed the “spout” on my sink had threads, so I took the spray-head off the spout and connected it that way, and to my surprise it worked. My fingers did get a little chopped up from having to tighten it (it still leaks slightly) so make sure you have a tool to help you tighten it down, but got through a couple of washes without the pressure forcing it off the faucet.I made the mistake already of not putting the drain hose over the sink, so my kitchen floor got a nice and deep unintentional clean lol. Only make that mistake once, and I’m sure you will remember like I did. As for the draining itself, it’s amazing. I’m so used to using a small 10lb Kuppet machine that I had to manually fill with water from my shower head, drain with a gravity drain, and then move the clothes by hand into the spinner which only fit half of the load at a time, so having a machine that does all the work in one go for me is grand. The water moves fast through the hose, and it took a bit of finagling to get the hose just right on the edge of my sink, but I do not fear it coming loose. I did try letting it drain into a 5 gallon bucket, but even the small load takes more than 5 gallons of water, so if you’re planning on draining that way, grab at least two or three Homer buckets.I was able to get a good 4 heavy hoodies in the ‘med’ load size (which I used for my first load to see how it did) and I absolutely could have fit more clothes in. I did about 20 garnments in the wash today (see the attached picture for two loads) and could have probably pushed it to 30 garnments and been fine. That’s two loads, people. MUCH more than what I’m used to.The con’s that I’ve found out as of now have been small. I need to play around more with the settings, but find everything works properly on the ‘wash, rinse, spin’/Medium/Cold/Heavy cycle. Button pressing does switch the settings, so before you hit start, make sure everything is where it needs to be. For some reason or another, the cycle washed and spun when I set it to a normal cycle, but didn’t do the rinse. It sat and drained for about 10 minutes without doing anything else, and acted like it was in a rinse cycle but didn’t have any water; the tub was just moving the clothes around dry, before I turned the power off and powered it back on, choosing just the ‘rinse and spin’ cycle to finish the load. So there are ways around it if the machine isn’t doing exactly what you want to do on the first setting. After today’s loads, it worked perfectly so I’m not sure if it was due to user error or something with the computer. It honestly could have been something I did.The spin cycle gets the clothes mostly dry. I put them on a clothes drying rack and about two hours later were able to fold them and put them away. As of right now, I do not feel the need to invest in one of those small portable dryers, as I’ve read it takes two hours to dry with those anyway.I live in a small-ish apartment (630 SqFt), and though this washer does take up a little bit of space, I plan on using it as my laundry hamper. I’ll throw my dirty clothes in at the end of the day, and when it gets to a proper load size, I’ll just wheel the machine out from where I’m keeping it in my bedroom and into the kitchen, do the wash, and put the machine away. I’m estimating it’ll be about twice a week, which is perfect for me. I mostly wear scrubs and leggings and t-shirts, so I don’t have many heavy or bulky loads to do, and it’ll save me some space with getting rid of my laundry baskets! This machine is very quiet. I couldn’t hear it from outside my apartment door, or outside from the sidewalk with my windows wide open. I even had music playing and still had to check to make sure everything was running because I thought a couple of times it had shut off.I think this machine is absolutely great and a huge step up from my little Kuppet that I’ve been using since 2018. It feels very well made, nothing cheap about it, even with the hoses that come with it. There’s not much I would change about it, except maybe find a way to make it a little lighter. If I ever need to get it out of my apartment again, I will definitely need some help.I’ll update in the future if anything about my review changes, but as of now I highly recommend it, especially for the price point! In total, my order came to about $380 including the dolly. If you can get it cheaper than that, you’re getting a STEAL!

Game changer
This is one of the best life decisions I have ever made. I was using local laundromats for the longest time, and they kept increasing the costs of the machines, or the dryers didn't fully dry the clothes, of the washers didn't fully clean the clothes, the washers smelled bad, I had to wait to use machines in crowded laundromats, I had to deal with rude or inconsiderate customers - that's just some of the issues, there were so many more. And there was nothing within walking distance, so I had to load everything into the car and then hope for parking when I got home (I live in a city). Doing laundry was a miserable experience. And things have only gotten worse since then, with rents going too high for laundry businesses to continue or stay affordable of they do stay open, or building being torn down to build high-rise apartment buildings. Just misery all around trying to get laundry cleaned. When we got to the point where we were filling the tub to (inadequately) clean our clothing, I finally gave in and bought an apartment-sized washer - this one. My bathroom is very small, but the dimensions looked like I could make it work - and it did. The space is a little tighter in the bathroom now, but so worth it for the ability to do laundry at home - and at any time of the daySo, about the washer: I got it in October 2024, and it is still working really well. No issues at all. (Well, not none, but they are user issues. We have forgotten to place the hose in the tub a few times and flooded the apartment. After doing that about 4-5 times, the trauma of cleaning up so much water and throwing ruined things away forced us to remember.) I hook the fill hose up to the bathroom sink as needed, place the drain hose in the tub, and life is good.To make the washer stay in good shape, I am really strict about keeping the washer tub clean - to avoid a soapy mess, I don't use the slide-out detergent cup for detergent, I just add the detergent directly on top of the clothing, and after every wash, I pull the detergent cup out and dump the water that gathers in it so it doesn't sit and get stagnant and smelly, and I wipe down the tub and inside of the lid so it doesn't stay wet between washings. My house-mate works in a restaurant kitchen, and even so, we have been able to keep the washer tub smelling almost new just by maintaining it this way.If I had more space I would have invested in an apartment-sized dryer, too, but I don't. As long as we space out the laundry loads, we can dry everything on clothes hangers on the shower rod, using clippy hangers for the towels indoors - I use over the door hanger holders to maximize drying areas - and when possible, I use a laundry rope and pins outside. If you're reading this because you're still considering buying a washer to make your apartment life easier, do it now, because I can't tell you how much I regretted not buying this sooner than I did. The $300 (give or take) that this costs quickly pays for itself in so many ways. Some of the other detail ideas listed below the review field here:Durability: Fantastic, but I recommend being strict with maintenance in order to make it durable.Water usage: I love that it has options for small to large loads (note that large loads are relative, but you can wash a large blanket in it, or several towels. I think this washer is best for small households, like mine. If you are a larger household and have to use it multiple times every day to keep up with laundry, the water usage and durability would be affected. We do about 5-6 loads a week.)Connectivity: It comes with a connector for the sink. If you have a washer connection in your apartment, you can hook up both filling hoses, but if you have only a sink, you will have to use only one hose and use the included valve cover to keep the second (hot) valve closed. The drain hose should be secure in a tub or clipped to a sink, otherwise the force of the water could make it jump out and flood the floor. (has happened to me)Fit: As I mentioned, this machine makes my small bathroom a little tighter to move around in, but the trade-off is more than worth it.Weight: It is too heavy to be lifted by one person, but it has wheels on one side on the bottom to move it around. Because I have to shift the machine for the hose to reach the sink every time I use it, I added a wheeled base with locking wheels underneath to make moving it a lot easier. I love this product so much
I wanted a washer machine for my apartment as I didn’t want to have to pay $9 every two weeks for washing and drying downstairs in my apartment just for my clothes to barely be clean. I am the type of person to do extensive research before I buy something, and I am willing to pay a little extra for quality, if I feel like the product will last me a long time and be worth it in the end. This product is expensive, and I am a college student that is on a full ride. I decided to get a washer because I don’t like feeling unclean, and using the washers in my unit weren’t as powerful as the ones in my previous dorm. It didn’t seem like water was getting on my mild loads, and stains that should’ve been out weren’t out.I was initially thinking of getting one of the smaller plastic washer and dryers but after reading a lot of comments about how lots of them would break, or flood, and ultimately have a lot of issues, I started looking for more expensive options that I could at least hopefully guarantee wouldn’t hopefully break. When I got this, it was on sale for around $100 less than it is now, which meant it was around $150 dollars more than the cheaper plastic ones. I got the 1.6 cubic one instead of the smaller version because it was $90 more and in my mind if I was going to spend the extra $150 anyways on this brand, might as well get the bigger one that can hopefully fit more of my clothes, and big items. This thing is huge, and I have to wheel it in and out of my “pantry closet” when I want to use it but it is so worth it. It is so easy to use and when it was being delivered, the delivery guy pushed it all the way into my unit. I liked that this has wheels because I think long term and the wheels would allow me to be able to move it to another apartment/space in 2 years when I finish college.I work out a lot, so a lot of my clothing ends up being leggings, bras, and things that are very stinky. When I tell you I can’t smell ANYTHING after I put them in the washer…..it’s amazing. The reason I think this is especially important is because I don’t use normal laundry detergent. I don’t use tide and other name brands one because of the harmful ingredients in it that can impact your hormones. So I use more mild laundry detergents that some would say may not be as effective at leaving your clothes smelling clean. Regardless though, I smell nothing after my sweaty stinky clothes run in this washer. What I also really like is the fact that the clothes are usually dry or mostly dry when I take them out. Again I live in a small space, so I had to really think if I wanted to only get a washer, rather than a combo, and have to air dry all my clothes. I would find that 1/4th of my items would usually be fully dry while almost all of them are mostly dry. This is because the spin feature at the end is so powerful that it takes out most of the water from the clothes. I hang dry my underwear and stuff after but they dry very quickly.Cons- this has a lint filter but I do find that often times my bedding comes out with little stains that I think are a mixture of the lint/something that is coming from the machine. I think it may be stuff that came out from my other clothes, but it is something to be mindful about. I also think that the water attachment is a little difficult to screw in sometimes to the faucet, and because I have to do it every time I take this out, it can get a little annoying at times but it’s intuitive. I also like that this has a hose that can remove the dirty water from the machine, but it is difficult to get it to stay in one place when you are using it through your kitchen sink. I usually wrap it around the water attachment to keep it stable. I also don’t like that I can’t only do an extra spin cycle, because I washed my weighted blanket in this and I think because I only air dried it, it formed some mildew that I had to treat.

Update to the update. I'm a dunce. This machine is 5 stars!
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: It was the Downy fabric softener ball. Please be advised that if you use one of these in this machine, it will make a lot of racket. The machine is fine. I am sorry I did not thoroughly investigate the noise issue before posting the negative review.UPDATE: I have loved using this little machine, but after 2 weeks of doing laundry for one person, it is making a horrible noise when agitating. I will contact the company and see what my remedies are, but for now I must change my review to one star. Quality washers should last longer than two weeks!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I researched the heck out of these portable washing machines before selecting this one. It seemed to have the best combination of price, reviews, appearance and reputation. I unpacked it earlier today and fired it up.My biggest concern was that it would be too small. It isn't. The only things in my over-filled laundry baskets that would't fit are a king-sized quilt and a queen-sized mattress pad. Also, I love that there are a variety of cycles to choose from. You can wash for 2-12 minutes, rinse 1-3 times, spin for 5-55 (?!) mins, and choose an optional soak if you want it. There's a rapid wash cycle that runs a total of 15 minutes! I love that. So, lots of options. It's light. I got it up 15 stairs alone, and I'm a 60-year-old woman. Unboxing was easy, but I had a hard time getting the plastic base plate to slide in. Be patient and bend it a little and it will go in. On first impression, this was a nice-looking little machine. Does not look cheap, just small. Like somebody shrunk a full-sized washer. It comes up to my hip. Stainless steel interior, real glass lid and nice touch-panel button controllers. The top and panel come wrapped in clear plastic, so make sure to peel that stuff off.It is covered with a bunch of ugly "don't stick your head in this washer!" type stickers. Most of them were easy to remove, and I will put some goo gone on the rest. Setup was relatively easy. I have a laundry room with hookups and a drain, so I just hooked it up to the cold water line (no hot water line in this unit) and put the drain hose down the drain pipe. (Setup out-takes: I forgot to put the drain hose down the drain pipe initially. Was grateful for that floor drain!) Also: do not just open the lid when the machine is on. It will scream at you like a smoke detector. Push the "pause" button and you can open the lid and throw that found sock in.I've been doing laundry all day, and this thing is fabulous. Gets things clean, is relatively quiet (except for the beeping; more on that later) spins out a ton of water so that clothes are dry-damp when you take them out and dry quickly, and does a good job cleaning everything from bras to towels to tablecloths. According to the Energyguide label on the front, it should cost me SEVEN dollars a year to run it.Here are the negatives: I will still need to take comforters, etc. to the laundromat, but that might be 1-2 times per year. It beeps too much: I hate being beeped at, and this thing beeps for no good reason. For example, it beeps every time you select a wash type, and sometimes you have to push 6 times, so 6 beeps. Beeps multiple times at the end of every cycle. As far as I know, there is no way to mute the unnecessary beeps. The lint trap is a little dicey. It works, but it doesn't work great. You're supposed to clean it out about every 10 loads, but clean it after something linty, like towels. I made the mistake of washing a load of black pants right after a load of towels and they were a mess. I cleaned out the full lint trap and re-washed the pants and they came out perfect. It only has *one* leveling leg, which is just weird. Thankfully my location is level. All of these negatives considered, I still feel like I got the deal of the century for getting this little tiger delivered to my door for a little over $200. Now to begin the great portable dryer hunt . . .

High Maintenance and Stressful Washing Machine
I'm disappointed and I was hoping that maybe the situation would get better but it has not. I purchased the 0.9 Comfee Grey washing machine thinking it would be a game changer but.... LAWD HAVE MERCY!😮💨😮💨😮💨 This portable washing machine is terribly high maintenance, ANXIETY inducing and I have to watch it like a hawk!😒Prior to buying this machine, I was washing my clothes by hand which was time consuming and tiring, but I wanted to save money. THIS washing machine is time consuming and tedious as well! Got me stressed outtttttt!!!For starters, the actual cord is SO friggen short that the machine can barely operate in my apartment anywhere other than the kitchen sink. I have to hook this machine up in my kitchen because there is a sink and outlet right there close to each other. So having a short cord is a BIG problem. Secondly, the drain hose, is also short and defies logic. There is no way to simply hook it on to the edge of a sink and allow water to drain. If you do that, I guarantee it will fall on to the floor and cause flooding.... ASK ME HOW I KNOW. 😐 TIP: Use tape to secure it near the sink. TRUST ME.The CYCLES. The cycles simply DO 👏🏾NOT 👏🏾WORK👏🏾. I loaded clothes (literally only three pieces of clothing) on the HEAVY cycle and the machine would continuously stop. That means, I would have to get up and open the machine to rearrange the clothes and restart. Then the machine would stop AGAIN. And AGAIN and AGAIN. I can literally NEVER leave this machine alone to do its job. NEVER. This machine continues to stop on the NORMAL load as well with two tshirts in it.RAPID LOAD setting works a bit better for washing clothes. So far, the only two load settings that actually works on my machine is the GENTLE cycle and the RAPID cycle. All other cycles are flawed and won't wash my clothes. And no, I am NOT packing this machine with clothes either. The **Gentle cycle** specifically washes my clothes all the way thru and allows me to wash a few pairs of jeans and a few tops WITHOUT intervention. It's the ONLY cycle that works and that works sensibly with adding enough water and rinsing and spinning. I only have to get up to make sure my sink doesn't over flow because this particular cycle adds alot of water into the machine. So when the water is draining into the sink, I have to get up and pause the cycle so my sink doesn't overflow. And then I restart it and let the rest of the water drain to the sink. This washer has wheels at the bottom which I do not use. I purchased a small dolly so my machine can navigate easier. I'm literally not moving it anywhere because remember, the cord is incredible short. The machine is relatively quiet like. I mean, of course you can hear it. The water sloshing around etc. I've even learned the sound it makes when it is about to go into its rinsing cycles.I give this Comfee washer ONE STAR because I paid over $210+ for something that doesn't entirely work. And the learning curve for using this washer is entirely INSANE. Washing machines are usually straight forward but with this washer, I have experienced large water messes all over my bathroom floor and constant anxiety about how it's working, water coming out of the drain hose unexpectedly and so many MANY things. Also, I have literally been doing laundry for the past 3 hrs and I have only washed the equivalent a 1 FULL load of laundry. Hand washing was a similiar time frame and results. So that means, I just spent $210+ on something that was suppose to make my life easier, yet I have to stand directly beside it, NEVER relaxing or taking my eye off of it or else a disaster may occur. That certainly feels like a waste of money to me.I like the fact that this machine is lightweight and that the Gentle cycle works the way a machine is suppose to. It is the only cycle where it doesn't stop 20,000 times just to wash a load. But I'm not paying JUST for the gentle cycle now am I??? I'm upset because I was so hesitant to buy another machine knowing how these machines can be a disaster. But, I bought this one and it doesn't even fully work. I can't stand dishonesty like that. I do believe my washing machine was new upon arrival and there were no dents to speak of.However, the gosh darn thing doesn't fully work and there are clearly glitches. I just wish I would have did more research BEFORE buying it. This machine had GLOWING reviews. But, it's really low key J-U-N-K. I'm just letting you all know because I am on a wind and a prayer hoping that this Gentle Gycle never gives out. There is another option of manually putting the water in the machine and then pressing the *WASH* option and your clothes will start to wash. It's all very involved and the machine doesn't DO what you actually paid for. It does maybe only HALF of what you're paying for. Just keep this in mind BEFORE purchasing.ONE star.

Likely the best thing that has happened in my life in the past year. I love this thing.
I wanted to wait after I used this a few times to write a review. So here it is. I've been on the hunt for a portable washing machine as an affordable alternative to a full sized washer for a few months now. I've looked at hundreds of listings before settling on this one. I even bought another washer that turned out to be a disaster (but I learned from it). Here's the breakdown:HOW IT HOOKS UP AND DRAINS:The lessons I learned were that I needed a model that would be compatible with standard washing machine hookups as I am lucky enough to have those. I don't want to keep on hooking it up and unhooking it every time I want to do a load. I'm on hospice and dying. There will come a time where I just won't be capable of doing that. This model can stay hooked up permanently just like a standard washing machine. Just smaller. A big plus. If you are going to use a faucet set up will be simple. You put the drain hose where you want it, hook the water hose up to your faucet & adjust the water temp, turn it on and your done.I also need a model that does not just use gravity to drain the water has I have a drain pipe that sits at 38 inches. The first machine I got advertised it to be compatible with dorms, apartments & RV's but yet it's drain pipe couldn't be elevated higher than 4 inches!! Where have you ever seen a dorm that has a floor drain? Most sinks, bathtubs, and toilets are all higher than 4 inches. Lesson learned: read the fine print. This machine has a pump that can use a drain pipe as high as 39 inches. It has been working PERFECTLY. And once again I can use my standard washing machine set up.This machine can use BOTH hot and cold water. Most portables can't handle hot water. Note that this machine doesn't have 2 water inlets (as most portables are hooked up to a sink where you moderate water temp with the tap) so you will have to get a hose splitter if you want to use both hot & cold. Also because most portables are used in a sink where the tap has a male connector this machine's water hose has a female connector so I also had to get male to male connector adapters (as well as the splitter) to hook up to my standard wall hookups. This sounds so much more complicated than it actually is.COST TO RUN:This machine is high efficiency and it costs about $3.00 to run 100 loads. Being able to afford to run my machine as much as I need when everything is getting so expensive is a huge plus. In addition to that a standard bottle of detergent and fabric softener should last me between 1.5-2 years. That's bonkers. You can also use scent beads with this machine, and I've been able to use a Downey ball as well.CAPACITY:The washing capability is much smaller obviously, but as I am 1 person and do not generate much laundry that works perfectly for me. The load of laundry in this video consisted of: 4 floor length dresses, 2 tops, 5 pairs of underwear, and 5 bras. Thicker/bigger items obviously take more room, but that's a decent load. I'll have to use my sister's house to wash my blanket/comforter, but it can handle Queen sheets as long as you split them up into separate loads. I'm actually impressed with the capacity.HOW WELL DOES IT CLEAN:It washes my clothes very clean. I have not had any issues with it not doing a through job or it not rinsing well. My clothes feel and smell clean. Cleaner than they do using the machines at my mother's complex. I babysat my sister's animals & her cat sprayed all over my clothes. I washed them at her house in her standard washer, but they still smelled and had an oily residue. Gross. I washed them again in my mini washer using the soak function and the smell was gone and my clothes felt so clean and free of residue. Perfect.LOOKS & MAINTENANCE:The outside of the machine looks sleek. It's made out of a thick durable plastic. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. It does have handles on the sides as well as wheels to help move it. If you're going to move it to and from a faucet you should probably get a little dolly for it. Just to prevent any unnecessary wear and tear because I could see the sides getting bent inwards if handled incorrectly. The maintenance is limited to cleaning out the lint trap every 10 washes, running a cycle with bleach to clean the tub if you're concerned about smells, and leaving the lid open and wiping down the inside to prevent any mold from growing. Easy Peasy.I really love this machine. It's a much more affordable option than a full sized washing machine, it's space saving, and it's cheap to run. It appears durable and it's gotten good reviews. I got the warranty for peace of mind. I am so happy with this purchase. Being able to do laundry in the comfort of your own home is life changing and a true blessing.

Great washer.
My insignia washer died after 9 years. So I thought id try this one. Its fantastic. Cleans the clothes. Is more quiet and has a load balancer. Clothes come out about 80% dry. Easy to move around. I would definitely recommend this washer.
